The fact that the game is set to receive additional patches based on feedback from fans also bodes well for its release on other platforms. Nonetheless, and while we don’t know what their sales estimates were, it would appear that the remake is already a success for Forever Entertainment. With all that said, we’ve also been told that we shouldn’t take these reports as “official” announcements in the sense that they have not been communicated by the game (or Forever Entertainment)’s official channels. We already know that at least two of those platforms are Google Stadia and PC (via Steam/GOG). The report concludes by stating that the game will be released on additional platforms in the coming months. Due to contractual obligations, the exact sales numbers will apparently not be communicated. This matches earlier remarks from the company’s CEO that the game’s development costs had already been recouped before it was even released.

Blending time-tested Panzer action with some of the most impressive graphics and gameplay the Saturn has ever seen, this installment is packed with mysteries and puzzles. But for me it is an opportunity to really dive in and take a closer look at a game world that's still probably my favorite to this day. SEGAs popular dragon shooter series continues with a four-CD adventure for the ages. It's clunky, it's certainly not the best looking game, and it has ideas bigger than it can really realize. If you can answer yes to all of those, I'd tell you to buy it. I mean, do you find yourself fascinated by how many little details are crammed into the games every time you play through it?ģ) Do you like the idea of being able to experience this world from a different, more in-depth perspective than a rail shooter? Even through a (at the time.) very experimental and forward-thinking - albeit flawed - system based around world-building and jRPG mechanics? It's the kind of price that's difficult to justify objectively.
I'll get straight to it - PDSaga is bloody expensive.
